The Futures and Bitcoin: a Symbiotic Relationship?

The Price of Bitcoin was diving right up to the exact time that the Futures Expired on Jan 16th. Some say coincidence and others the Big Funds were legally controlling the price. Either way, what can we do to maximize the issue for ourselves.  Do we Buy or Sell  or just HODL.

As of 10:30 am the last price was 8590.00 with the high of 8870.00 and the low of 8010.00 on the CBOE for Wednesday Feb14,

Will the closing low and high of the Futures relate to the price?  It has dropped significantly since the January Contracts. We will know on Wednesday at 16:00 Zulu or 11am Wednesday.

CBOE Bitcoin UPDATE: Tues Feb 13/2018

With one day to go the CBOE numbers are: Today’s High 8970.00 Today’s Low 8340.00. Both both are down from Yesterday’s

8870.00 High and 8010.00 Low.  The Highs decreased by 100 and the lows by 300.

February Futures Contract for Bitcoin at CBOE

February CBOE Contract expired today at 11:00 AM which is 4:00 PM London Time or 16:00 Zulu This picture says it all.

It looks like the Shorts have it again, but this time there was pressure to raise the price whereas January they drove the price down.

Now we get to do it all over again at the CME  as of Feb 14 the low is 8505 and a High of 9390.
